はばたけ、ザ・グレートギャンブラー marks Ichiro Mizuki's first appearance in pop'n music. He's had a career in singing songs for various mecha series in Japan since the early 1970s.
In pop'n music 3, はばたけ、ザ・グレートギャンブラー's character was Ice [3-3P].
はばたけ、ザ・グレートギャンブラー's Standard and Battle NORMAL charts have their notecounts identical.
In the Asian English version of pop'n music 2, the title was dubbed as Fight on! The Great Gambler and the genre was changed to CARTOON HERO "R".
はばたけ、ザ・グレートギャンブラー received 5-Button and Battle NORMAL charts in pop'n music 9.

Song Production Information[]

The "Gambler Z" has returned in such a gorgeous new look. The song is sung by the great Ichiro Mizuki, who needs no explanation. The lyrics are by Ricky of KME, and the children's voices are by the children of the director of the Pop'n series. The reason why the word "Gambler" is used in the first place is because the Game Machine Equipment Division, which developed Pop'n, also makes medal games and machines for casinos overseas.
